In this section, explain the background (e.g., goals and objectives) and history of the selected organization. Include highlights of the organization. You may be able to find the “About Us” section of the organization’s history on the company’s website. You can create a timeline of the organization’s history. The organization’s history should include the following points:

1. Why your organization was started.

2. A brief explanation of the company’s founders. Include the founders and the most influential managers in the organization’s history.

3. Major turning points of the organization.

4. Any important or inspirational history of the organization.

Place citations in APA format. Also, examples of seriation in this template (numbers, leaving indentation, and not selecting the auto format) and using lowercase letters in open and closed parentheses to mention items within a paragraph. For example: (a), (b), (c), etc., or (a); (b); (c), etc. You will need to include at least two paragraphs; all paragraphs must have at least 5 to 6 academic sentences. Most likely organizations do not have scholarly sources published, so use current non-scholarly sources from the organization’s websites that must be properly APA cited.

The organization is George H. Oliver Elementary school in Clarksdale, Mississippi.  I am including the executive summary of the school and school wide plan. You can also google it, it is part of Clarksdale Municipal School District.
