1.) Physicians and the Budget

You are the hospital CEO. Physicians on the capital budget committee can’t agree on which equipment to recommend for purchase and for how much. They are way over budget. What do you say to them?

You have been asked to review the Ebola crisis at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. What do you think administrators could have done to have been better prepared for this crisis? One of the nurses who was injured is now sueing the facility because of her problems related to contracting the disease. Is she right to do so? Why or why not?
