the problem statement –  In adult patients in a high observation unit in a long-term acute care hospital in Virginia, will the translation of Hsieh et al. research implementing the ABCDE bundle compared to current practice impact length of stay over an eight-week period? 

purpose of the project-  The purpose of this quality improvement project is to determine if the translation of Hsieh et al. research implementing the ABCDE bundle would impact length of stay among adult patients in a long-term acute care hospital in a high observation unit. The project is to be piloted over an eight-week period in an urban Virginia long-term acute care hospital.

clinical question-  To what degree will the translation of Hsieh et al. research implementing the ABCDE bundle impact length of stay among adult patients in a high observation unit in a long-term acute care facility over eight weeks in Virginia?
